Core
- Fund
- A shared treasury for one group — society, club, NGO, trip, flatmates, etc.
- Received
- Money logged as added to the fund. Tab name on the fund screen.
- Add money
- Action to record a new received entry — money that came into the group's pool in the real world.
- Expense
- Money paid out from the fund — vendor, bill, or other spend from the shared pool.
- Balance
- Total received minus total expenses (remaining in the shared pool).
- Activity
- Chronological feed of what happened in a fund, or across all your funds.
Plan
The Plan screen appears when budget is enabled. Settings say “Enable budget”; the screen title is Plan.
- Plan
- Where admins set expense caps and dues before a period runs.
- Expense cap
- Optional spending limit for a category. Logged expenses roll up against it.
- Payment due
- A bill or payout the fund must make by a date — executed via Add expense.
- Collection due
- Money the group expects to receive by a date — executed via Add money.
- Fund target
- Optional goal for how much the group plans to pool; shown against what is actually received.
UPI & roles
- Scan & pay
- Scan a UPI QR → pay in GPay, PhonePe, Paytm, or BHIM → confirm → expense logged.
- Approval
- Optional: treasurer must approve received entries or expenses before they count.
- Admin / Owner
- Roles that can edit fund settings, Plan, and sometimes log money on behalf of others.
- Treasurer
- Common role for the person who manages the fund day to day.
