Delete your data
Last updated: June 8, 2026
You can delete funds, individual entries, and other data you created in noflaw without deleting your whole account. This page explains how.
Delete a fund
Only the fund owner or admin can delete a shared fund.
- Open the fund from Home.
- Tap Fund settings (gear on the fund screen).
- Scroll to the Danger zone section.
- Tap Delete fund and type the fund name exactly to confirm.
The fund is hidden from all members immediately. You can restore it from the Activity tab within 7 days. After that grace period, the fund and all its records (received, expenses, budgets, attachments) are permanently erased.
Restore a deleted fund
- Open the Activity tab (or Home → deleted funds banner).
- Find the fund deletion notice and tap Restore.
Restoration is only available during the 7-day grace period.
Delete a received or expenses entry
You can remove individual entries you added (subject to fund approval rules):
- Open the fund → Expenses or Received tab.
- Find your entry and use the delete option on that row.
Deleted entries are removed from fund totals. Attachments on those entries are deleted with them.
Leave a fund (remove your access)
If you are a member but not the owner, you can leave without deleting the fund for others:
- Open the fund → Fund settings → Danger zone.
- Tap Leave fund and confirm.
You will no longer see the fund. History you contributed remains visible to remaining members.
Close a fund (archive)
Owners and admins can Close fund in Fund settings to archive it read-only. This does not delete data; it stops new entries. You can reopen the fund later.
Delete your entire account
To remove your profile and sign-in access, see our account deletion page. You must delete or transfer any shared funds you own first.
